Bad boys for life è un film diretto da Adil El Arbi e Bilall Fallah, prodotto da Jerry Bruckheimer e Will Smith e messo in distribuzione dalla Warner Bros. Si tratta del sequel di Bad Boys II, uscito nel 2003. Ne è passato quindi di tempo dall’ultimo capitolo del film e ora lo spettatore si trova davanti a un film diverso, ricco di effetti speciali e di nuove tecnologie tipiche del nostro tempo. Il cast si regge principalmente sul binomio vincente Will Smith- Martin Lawrence, compagni di avventure anche qui, grazie alla loro amicizia, alle loro gag e ai momenti emozionanti che regala il loro rapporto, il film acquisisce sicuramente un potere in più: infatti oltre ad essere un classico film d’azione, Bad Boys for life fa anche emozionare, divertire e a volte anche commuovere. La pellicola non manca certo di colpi di scena o di attimi che fanno rimanere col fiato sospeso e saranno proprio questi a far rimanere lo spettatore inchiodato alla sedia per circa due ore. Bad boys for life è infatti un continuo climax ascendente di emozioni, risate, effetti speciali e momenti di suspense.
Tecniche registiche
Al climax in questione, segue anche la regia del film che ha un’inizio soft per poi arrivare ad utilizzare tecniche particolari di montaggio alternato, flashback, primi piani, soggettive, campi- controcampi e slow motion caratteristici delle scene di azione o di sparatorie. Le parti più forti dell’intero film rimangono comunque la sceneggiatura e l’ambientazione: ambientato tra la Georgia, e la Florida a Miami Beach, il film coi suoi colori del mare, del tramonto e le ambientazioni notturne con le luci artificiali della città da un tocco particolare alla fotografia. Importante qui è certamente il ruolo svolto egregiamente dal direttore della fotografia Robrect Heyvaert che si muove con grande professionalità all’interno della pellicola. La sceneggiatura di Joe Carnahan, Chris Bremner e Peter Craig è il punto cardine del film: le battute sagaci e i dialoghi sempre centrati e precisi sono il vero punto forte della pellicola. E’ questo infatti il caso di dire che la sceneggiatura crea e regola i vari ritmi del film: ritmi veloci, ricchi di suspense, di tensione e di divertimento. Da notare sono anche le scelte musicali del film, sempre perfette e fondamentali per il momento in questione.
Un film per tutti
Da sottolineare la recitazione di Will Smith e Martin Lawrence che lavorano sempre in grande sintonia, sembrano più che due attori, semplicemente due amici per la pelle. Will Smith più di tutti dimostra grandi abilità recitative e comunicative, mentre una piacevole scoperta è rappresentata da Vanessa Hudgens che qui interpreta una poliziotta in gamba e la si può notare in grandi scene di azione emozionanti e belle da vedere. Un film che è quindi adatto per tutti, dai più grandi ai più piccoli. Bad boys for life è in uscita nelle sale dal 20 febbraio, non perdetevelo!
