Les Miserables è un musical tratto dal romanzo di Victor Hugo e ancora oggi è sempre disponibile nei teatri di Broadway e di Londra. Nel 2012 esce in tutte le sale cinematografiche il film di Tom Hooper, “Les Miserables” basato sull’omonimo musical con un cast d’eccezione come: Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Samantha Barks , Eddie Redmayne e Helena Bonham Carter.

Oggi vogliamo analizzare il personaggio di Eponine, migliore amica di Marius del quale però è innamorata fin da piccola. Nella famosa canzone On my own tratta dal musical, esprime tutto il suo amore non corrisposto per il suo amico. Eponine si sacriferà per Marius, forse è questo il vero e puro amore: amare senza confini e mettere il bene dell’altro al posto nostro.
